For sale 1913-mil-std Nightforce standard duty aluminum base, has 20 MOA, and fits Rem 700 short action. Product did not fit my custom build and has never been exposed to outdoor elements. Includes mounting screws and everything that came with original purchase. $40 or best offer.

Does this extend beyond the front of the action or is it a standard length and stop at the recoil lug or just behind.
