Nightforce NXS Windage Turret Still Showing 2nd Rotation After Zero Reset — Normal?

I sighted in my new Nightforce NXS 2.5-10 and got my dials where I want them. I went to reset the zero on the windage turret, which was dialed around the 2nd rotation mark.

I loosened the screw and reset the turret cap back to 0, but it still shows the 2nd rotation indicator and won’t move back down just now at 0.

Possibly a dumb question, but is that normal for this turret?

I’m already dealing with a warranty issue for a seized ZeroStop clutch, so I’m trying to confirm whether this is normal behavior or if I may have ended up with a lemon.

See in the photo the turret is set to zero but its showing on second rotation.

Yes, it is showing the revolution it is on.

Hey @Formidilosus you ever deal with a seized clutch wheel? Brand new scope, zero stop clutch wheel will not disengage. Calling nightforce tomorrow. Few guys on some forums have had the issue but nobody posted a solve.

They will fix it no problem.
But it’s probably 6 weeks or so with shipping time.
