I have discussed a clear ano/grayish coating with NF many times. I’ll ride them hard again this year at DSC next month.. hard to get away from me when you are stuck in a booth with me for a week

Personally, other than black, some form of coyote/tan/fde might be of interest.

That said, it seems there may be a bit of unfulfilled market demand for stainless, which seems especially absent in higher end scopes.

Unrelated but a hypothetical.. if I could get custom colors / anodizing, what color would you guys want? Clear ano? Stainless?

I think colored optics are kind of corny myself, but I’m over 40 and entering my, “These younger guys these days…” phase. What I would love to see, and would actually buy, are rifles with 16-18” barrels in more chambering than .308 to serve as suppressor hosts. 20” is all well and good, but I still end up with a 26”+ broomstick after I’ve mounted a can. I like what you guys did with Christensen on the Mesa Long Range and the custom stock colors on the Traverse, but what I would have hit buy on was an 18” Ridgeline FFT in 6.5 PRC. Ironically enough, they already made that rifle, they just stuck it in that stupid Sitka Elevated II stock and killed it. You guys give me a rifle like that, and I’ll also buy a boring black scope from you.

Who cares about color? Lean on them about a good ffp hunting reticle
