But knowing NF I'm fully expecting some aspect or feature that just makes zero sense and kills the appeal.

This is precisely my prediction. Likely a reticle selection, for me. But would love to see a 2-12 that actually made me want to buy a NF scope.

Well I’m going to guess there is a reason that you have no idea what new scopes from any company that are coming; and why I’ve been shooting prototypes from multiple companies for quite a while.

I can across this thread by searching scopes instead of starting a new “I need scope recommendations” thread. I know very little about scopes outside of Luepold and formerly Nikon which is all I own.

How does Nightforce compare to other scopes? I am looking for longish range target action.

I have a feeling mil guys won’t be happy with the 2-12 reticle offerings but I think most will be happy with the 3-18 options. I will have one of each.
