NFA Approval after January 1

Certified this a.m. for my 3rd one. Will see how it goes. Last one was a month ago and took 14 days. I think if someone is already in the system, it goes a bit easier/quicker. Just my guess.

I wouldn't count on it, I have 10 or 12 cans, got 3 last year, including one in November, those took 1-7 days. I have gotten two F1s approved this year, one was around a week and the other just got approved a few days ago at 42 days. Currently waiting on an F4 from 2/7/26. There's no fast lane for folks already in the system, it's just a toss up.

Submitted Wed 2/25 2pm received email Monday 3/2 3:30pm. I would have thought of that as 3 days since there was a weekend thinking nothing happened over the weekends. But i see a few post up that Carl got his approval on a Sunday. I was pleased. Did not use SS kiosk. Dealer said their new system shaved 2-3 days off compared to their as kiosk

As mentioned above, I certified last Saturday (2/28) and got approval email today (3/3). 5 days if you count the Saturday and today. fwiw

Glad to hear this one went quickly for you. My latest F4 was submitted 2/7 and approved today at 24 days. I had one that took 29 hours last year, but like I said, it's a toss up.

Submitted 2/12. Approved 3/4

Last year took 2 days. Crazy that this process is so random and still so cumbersome.
