my lgs said he has 29 approvals so far out of the 50 ish he did this year.
how, im a traveling nurse and wont be home til late january, an hes gone to shot show when im home, so i still cant get mine til late feb even tho is approved. but, dont get me started on that.

That stinks. Sounds like he needs a lackey to run the shop while he’s gone.

Did my paperwork on Sunday through Scheels and picked up my suppressor today.

Talked for a bit with the FFL that I use today and he said that if he comes in early or stays late he can submit easily. During the "day" it is pretty jammed up. I appreciate the little guys that do what needs to be done to make shit happen!

That makes sense. Mine seems to have been similar since I got the submission email late in the evening.

I’m still waiting on approval for a Form 4 submitted on December 13, 2025.

I would guess that it has been approved and the email was never sent. I know of several that were like that in December including a couple of mine. You have to contact the SOT that handled your transfer and have them check their eforms folder.

I just talked with my LGS (they use the Silencer Shop software/process) - they said lunch time and early evening the system is so slow its almost impossible to do anything. In general, they've gotten odd errors regarding details when they can see the info is correct in the system. Until I called, they only had success getting through with one other customer.

Same. My LGS spent 30 mins with me on the phone yesterday midafternoon while using SS/online process to certify (went smooth) and then to submit - this took at least 20 attempts, we kept encountering “system error.” They could see that all was correct, but the high traffic kept preventing submission. At last, we got through and now I’m waiting on review/approval.

Currently have two cans in limbo.
Missed the December blackout date by a day or two on silencer central and didn't get that one submitted until Monday morning (1/5) and the other through my lgs/silencer shop on Sunday at noon-ish (1/4)

My FFL buddy said they worked 8 hrs yesterday to get 4 form 3 transfers done. Slow as molasses.

Submitted 1/4 and just approved. No issues getting anything submitted to ATF but I do know of others that couldn’t get anything submitted this week.

Submitted 1/5 and just got approval today 1/8. last can was 5 months long wait and the one before that was 14 months long so I'd say this is win.

Tried multiple times on Monday couldn’t ever get thru to even submit. Will try again tomorrow. Pretty handy living 3 hours from my sot lol.
