NF atacr vs mk 5hd or?

i run a 4-16 atacr on my sheep gun and have no issues plinking steel out to 1100yards.
The 4-16 has the best turrets also

I have been told the 5-25 is the worst in the line up and doesn't match clarity as any of the others.

really? why is that? again just going from what others have said but it seems everyone loves the 4-20 i was told "it was built for the scar 20s (mk20)" not sure how true that is, but know it was for a socom contract and thats who used the mk20 so makes sense

The clarity through the 5-25 seemed the same as on the 4-20.

The 4-20 is a great scope, but I can do everything needed in the field with 10x, and even at the range 12x is sufficient.

If you have SCAR money laying around just get the 4-20 ATACR to try it out

If you dislike it, you may waste a little money switching scopes around until you find the perfect one, but it won't be nearly as much money as you wasted on a SCAR

No SWFA cause you haven’t heard of them but you would use a leupold.

I’d suggest you learn about scopes.

The ADM delta mount was designed for the scar and takes care of the whole “scar eating optics” problem.
Scars eat optics when cantilever mounts are used.
Go with the delta mount. They are solid.

For the SCAR… definitely the ATACR 4-16x42 with the locking turret.
