22 CM as soon as I sell my 22-250
Maybe the perfect Texas deer rifle. Didn’t Horace Gore try this route with the 224 TTH?

I wanted a 33xc or 338 rum for a while because I thought it would be fun to mess around with. I’m building a 6um instead. I need it about as much as I need a .338 but at least the recoil with be tolerable.

I vote a 6mm or .338.

6mm Creedmoor or GT

7mm PRC

If you have an aspirations of Africa the 9,3x62, 375s and so on are fun.

If you just want a crazy big cartridge see if you can find a 500 Nitro Single shot built on a Ruger number one.

Or buy a TC Encore in 500 Smith and Wesson.

Deer rifle in thick woods? 35 Whelen or 9.3x62 or just an 06 in case you ever hunt elk or moose & always want ammo available to purchase easily.

Since you have a 30 cal suppressor already, why not go with a .308? Tons of ammo available and lots of gun options with a threaded barrel. You get a lightweight bolt set up, or build you a fun AR-10 platform.

30-06 is the correct answer, preferably in something classy like a pre-64 Winchester. Every red blooded American NEEDS a 30-06 (a 30-30 lever gun is a close second). 😁

35 Whelen or 35 Whelen AI. You NEED a mid bore. 400 yd ranging with the .358 200 TTSX. End of search. 35 AI took the place in the field of the 300 Win Mag that is in my safe 22 years ago (and not shot in anger since) and everything out to 400 yards is one and done. Less recoil, much less powder and more authority on impact based on many observations.

300 Winmag or 300 PRC. Your Creedmoor handles everything fine up to that caliber, your just missing something big.
