I condensed down to about 8 minutes from the 20 minutes we have of Hunter's bear.

Starting to get things packed up. Hunter and I fly out of MPLS on Friday night, for Denver. Saturday morning we'll pack in to our hunting area. We are going to hang cameras, do some scouting, and spend a few nights on the mountain. We will fly back to WI on the evening of the fourth. Hopefully the snow will have receded so we can get up high enough. Either way it will be good!

They will stay for the summer. Hunter and I will be back in early September.

That's a pretty stand-up move for Hunter to decide to put an injured bear out of its misery instead of holding out for a healthy bear with all four paws. Hunting seems to highlight a lot about a guy's character, and that video speaks volumes about Hunter's!

All packed up and ready to head to the airport. Ends up we are going to check one bag. We are taking a Kifaru Tahr and Woodsman. I'll pick up a Reckoning while there. Here is what I have packed for gear:

Made it back late last night. Didn't have service on the mountain which was abnormal. Although I wasn't able to update, it made for a more relaxing trip. There wasn't a lot of sleep, put a lot of miles on. Lots of fun. There wasn't much snow, we could get wherever we wanted. We did some glassing, some hiking, hung some cameras, and BS'ed a lot Made a trip through RMNP, did some backpack cardio on the fire road, and ate at Twin Peaks before heading out last night.

I'll start posting some pictures and details.

Spent some time last week going over the whole Swarovski line. That was a lot of fun. Got some new gear to put through the ringer this fall.

Hey Eric, this was RMNP as well. Didn't see much on the actual scouting trip, which is to be expected. We usually hunt below timberline in the dark timber. This is where we spent our time looking things over and hanging cameras.
