That idiot has no leg to stand on shaming anyone. Those Yakamas got a feeding station closed because they would drive right up to the winter range elk and slaughter them in front of the public while they were eating alfalfa bales. Guys nothing but a 2 bit poacher.

He better be careful flashing so much cash long lost relatives might start showing up........ Maybe he can use the money to buy a better camera so he can film his night hunts.

I sat on the plane next to a guy from ellensburg yesterday on my way to sheep show. He told me that several locals feed big bulls all winter long to keep them safe and that he’s seen multiple big bulls subsistence harvested for their heads and the rest left.

Sounds like that bull spent his summer on public then rutted and wintered in the low lands, only reason he survived as long as he did.

The "subsistence" harvest happens all the time, especially in the Colockum herd. Animals taken for "ceremonies" but always big branch antlered bulls and the heads always end up at local sportsmans shows for competitions. Its a racket.

Thats how our local bull herd does it. Once they rut they split off into a bachelor herd and then hang out on private till the snow melts. They even avoid the January late season designed to thin them down and keep them from destroying orchards by staying on the correct side of a highway.

The guys that say that never have picture evidence of a body and never file a report with the game department either. I'm not saying that it doesn't happen, but I'm local to the general area and I can tell you 95% of the people saying that are full of shit.
