Having missed pages 14- to current, have there been any facts to this story yet?

I’ll give you one guess. Actually I’ll just tell you to save you from reading. There have been zero facts.
Lots of back and forth, some guys accused of sexual favors for the killer of the bull in question (ok that might be a slight exaggeration), some poor memes, a few good memes, sides are being formed, it might be worth reading up just to see what side you want to take but thats really the only reason to read up. You won’t get any facts if that’s what your after.

The optics of the regulations is more of a concern to me because, like it or not, regs and policy are impacted by community input.
If it was shot under the confines of the law then it's up the state of Washington to defend its position on the regulations (winter ground rules, bait, length of season, etc). I suspect some of those regs may come under some scrutiny now.

OK, wow....I'm admittedly way out of touch with costs when I made the $35,000 comment....$60k is a chunk....and then back in the day the Res's would give priority if you spiffed them on the side.

My comment still applies that many one of us with a Billion dollar fortune wouldn't hesitate to hunt these exclusive spots....or pay for a crew to find big bulls. The guy is only doing what many of us would do in his circumstance....though maybe not the baiting.

A couple billion dollars would be hard to spend.....but I would sure enjoy trying- grin

To be clear, I would 100% kill that bull in front of a school bus full of children in the neighbors flower bed if I could and it was legal.

But since we're fantasizing, I would also prefer it were on public wilderness, and that I packed it out with my suddenly perfect lungs and knees and my marvelous 10% body fat having also grown an inch or two in strategic locations

I almost killed a giant brown bear wearing my orange Crocs a few years ago. My buddy wouldn't let me chase after it as it was nearly dark, ~1000 away, and he only agreed to go out looking with me that evening because I promised him we wouldn't kill my bear (we were both pretty whupped from packing his bear out that morning) and to seal the deal I left my boots at the lodge saying, "what kind of moron is gonna try to put a stalk on a giant brown bear in bright orange Crocs".

Mark learned as I was about 50 yards from the truck that I was that kind of moron. But since it was opening day and we still had a whole week I decided not to push it.

Found that monster a couple of days later when he came waddling around the corner minutes after shooting my 9' sow. Made her look like a puppy.

Ever since, it's been my goal to shoot a big ole bear wearing my Crocs, just to prove a point to Mark

All I did was watch movies with my wife, then go walk the driveway real quick.

I wasn't entertaining the idea of shooting something, but it's season, and it's only 2 weeks so I should go.....




Not nearly as cool as getting to shoot a 9'er in crocs

I no lie missed a bull in flip flops and sweat pants with a crossbow in 2021, got it on video..

Buddy filming gave me the wrong range.
