New tricer bipod

I wonder if the ball could have a hole/channel milled and you install a pin with a spring so you could essentially lock it to tilt and then pull the pin for pan?

Either way, I pre-ordered as well as this seems like a fantastic 1 bipod option.

That would be awesome, but I don’t have a mill, I do have a drill press! I don’t see myself using it so I will not go through the effort to make a selectable pan lock out vs just a permanent pan lock out pin.

Guys get this bipod on your rifle and use it before we start talking modifications.... Trust me the panning is not going to be an issue on this fat stem and ball.
