I’m wanting to become a better hunter during the offseason and I’m considering buying some trail cams for scouting. I don’t get a ton of time to scout and the unit I’m going to be hunting is a 5 hour drive so I have to take any advantage I can to improve my scouting. Question is, does anyone have any suggestions on trail cams, model/brand etc?
Is there talk of Idaho banning the time you can use them? I live in Utah and the rules have changed on when you’re allowed to use them so I don’t really want to spend money on a tool I won’t be able to use in the future.
And is anyone willing to give me any tips on the best practices when using cams?
Appreciate the help.
