Quad, If you want exposed turrets on a Meopta scope check out the ZD 6-24 or the MeoTac 3-12x50. Both are top tier Meopta glass and won't leave you wanting more. Both would need to be ordered as I don't know anyone who stocks them. You really can't go wrong with buying from a company known for its glass quality and attention to detail. Meopta also just came out with a new scope, the MeoSport R 3-15x50 RD, this scope is under $450 and includes a 30mm mount.

Take a look at Maven if you haven't already. They have options in every price range. I don't have any of their scopes yet but did get a pair of their binocs and I'm super happy with them. Lots of good reviews on them. Welcome to the world of hunting, good luck!
