New build. New scope options

I have no experience with their customer service unfortunately. Or fortunately I guess lol

They’re not that great. I’ve put several on friends’s guns and would rather shoot the 3-18 Tenmile, despite the tree reticle.

You’re fine with MOA. Quick drop is pointless if whatever you’re using to get your range (which you need in order to even use quick drop) has a ballistic solver. And wind is just wind. You better know it, and your system, or you’re missing.
Thanks for the feedback

I’m curious what you don’t like about the Maven. I’ve got two Tenmiles and four Mavens, and preferred just about everything on the Maven even before the Tenmiles became significantly more expensive.

Not that I don’t like the maven. It’s good for the money. That’s why I recommend it my buddy’s that are more budget conscious. It’s just not that great in general. I actually like everything more about the Tenmile lol. Even though they are very close to similar. Probably just different strokes is all I’m sure. That said, I’d have a hard time paying $1600 for a new one.

Makes sense. I put them in the same category, and think the choice between the two comes down to preference in reticle and resale value, where the Trijicon seems to have an advantage due to brand recognition.

For some reason I find myself favoring the Tenmile on ARs and the Maven on hunting rifles.

I’ve got a pair of the Credo 2-10X as well, but don’t like them as much as the other two (other than the price tag).

I hadn’t realized the Mavens went up to $1400. That price increase somewhat levels the playing field again between it and the Tenmile. For me, I find myself preferring the glass and reticle on the Maven, but that’s almost certainly viewer dependent.
