Thought it would be nice to have some data in one spot.

If adding data include cartridge, brass, primer, powder, bullet jump and other pertinent info.

I’m thinking of your adding more data as we go maybe edit your original post to include it to try to keep thread from getting too cluttered and needing to search while thing for info.

on a scale of 1 to bad idea, how likely is a scythe to blow up on a 16" barrel with 88s on top of staball HD?

I have one on a 16” 6cm pushing 107s without a problem, does seem to be a bit hit or miss though….

I’m not advocating for Midway pricing but we got people talking shit on them “overcharging” for the new 107 TMK when they first got them in. My question why is nobody talking shit on UM for having the same pricing as Midway?

It’s called hostile attribution bias. It’s when you assume strangers have ill intent but you assume your friends don’t.

Nobody here knows Larry personally, so his pricing is attributed to greed and corruption.

We all know and like Jake, so we assume there’s a good reason for his pricing.

That’s pretty much it.

I honestly didn't even look at UM pricing. I need 116gr and they said they didn't get any.

UM and Midway are basically the same price in the 116 TMK. That’s fine, they are priced the same in Sierra’s site.

There are other vendors offering cheaper if you look.

Posted my initial testing with the 107’s in the other thread so I’m linking it here as well. Short answer - think there going to work out just fine.

As of last week, no. It’s just last in line of these to get designed tested and produced. But should be soon.

They haven’t run it yet, from what I have heard.

How long does Sierra usually take to release their official load data for new projectiles? I figure I can probably use a 107 HPBT/SMK or similar to get started but as a brand new reloader seeing the actual projectile I'm loading listed in the load data gives me a little confidence boost. I got some 107 TMK's for my wife's rifle but haven't started on that one yet figuring they'd be releasing some data at some point but seem to be dragging their feet on that. If it's gonna be a while I'll just get started but if it's right around the corner I can wait a bit.

Somewhere back in this post someone posted up the bearing surface measurements. They are shorter than most the other 105's...use that data and work up or if you're extra cautious use 108/115 data. You don't need specific 107 data, there is tons of data out there you can use.
