I cant remember exactly my usage of the taco farts but I'm glad it had an impact.

What aftermarket support isnt available for a Tikka? What do you suggest instead of a Tikka?

I have not found any lift kits or dual exhaust systems for tikka AT ALL, not a single aftermarket option

For the redneck bicycle guy, I could care less about the back and forth, but I 100% had a Leupold VX-6 fail within a short time. It's not voodoo, they fail & at a pretty high rate. Carry on with your troll job, but you're being obnoxious trying to derail a good thread.

This cluster of a thread reminded me I was planning to buy a Tikka before the end of the month (rebate) for a 6CM build if they didn't announce a factory 6CM.

Can anyone answer with clarity:

Is Tikka bringing 6CM in 2024?
Is Tikka bringing 7 PRC in 2024?

Hunting Big Game with a .223 Thread on Rokslide

Have y’all seen this thread over on Rokslide about killing deer, elk, etc with .223? Am I missing something here? To me, there are much better options for big game hunting than a .223. This Formidulous guy on Rokslide is like a cult leader. If he started a thread about taco farts improving...

I’m guessing if they didn’t make an announcement about it, it could be awhile.

That said… definitely buy whatever Tikka floats your boat and have it rebarreled. It’s the best of everything IMO. You get the exact length, twist, profile, etc that you want. Plus the great features of the Tikka as they are.

If only you loved tikka as much as you love leupold, you wouldn't be bemoaning triggers and barrel length.

Those looking for short barrel options in a comparable factory rifle with consistent accuracy & a good trigger might take a look at the new Bergara Stoke & Sierra. The Stoke is a compact model but comes in a similar weight to the Tikka Lite but with a 20" barrel threaded 5/8x24. Stock comes with spacers but is also compatible with Rem 700 stocks so lots of options.

Sierra is a slightly heavier barrel in regular size stock with adjustable comb. Chambered in 6 CM with 20" barrel. I just rebarreled a Tikka to 6 CM so love my Tikkas too but these two new Bergara options look solid.
