If only you loved tikka as much as you love leupold, you wouldn't be bemoaning triggers and barrel length.

I don’t “love” either and now I don’t even own either until my MK4 comes in.

I appreciate and understand things that work and the value in them. As I have said multiple times in this thread I think that for $600 the Tikkas are fine rifles, but their premium rifles are not worth what they are charging for some bolt fluting and paint that others have even said in here and have not been attacked.

People just can’t accept it when someone points out the flaws of their brand. I know someone else is going to quote this and go “derrrrrr ThE LeUhhhhhPoLd ThReAd”

What YOU don't accept, is that repeating the same thing many many times in the same thread is just turning the threads you post on to shit.

Say your peace and move on. If that doesn't convince someone 1) big deal! 2) you are a poor communicator 3) no one agrees with you, or 4) all of the above.

Those looking for short barrel options in a comparable factory rifle with consistent accuracy & a good trigger might take a look at the new Bergara Stoke & Sierra. The Stoke is a compact model but comes in a similar weight to the Tikka Lite but with a 20" barrel threaded 5/8x24. Stock comes with spacers but is also compatible with Rem 700 stocks so lots of options.

Sierra is a slightly heavier barrel in regular size stock with adjustable comb. Chambered in 6 CM with 20" barrel. I just rebarreled a Tikka to 6 CM so love my Tikkas too but these two new Bergara options look solid.

These look sweet, they also have a Sierra Extreme that’s 18” and cerakoted stainless for about $1k.

Reminds me of posters repeating “drop test” over and over in every scope thread.

Kinda like the same posters saying my gold ring blah blah blah
Maybe it does work? But oh no the DTM won’t let it go. If I had to put my money on one of the guys winning NRL hunter every weekend with a Leupold or one of the DTM killing a deer @long distance my money is on the NRL winners.

Yeah or the guy who cries in every thread about how he’s mistreated as a non resident

The irony runs thick in this thread

That and I’m disgruntled today

Do I say I’m mistreated or that non res are losing a bigger percentage of the pie every year? And it’s a waste for non res to help residents out?

I will admit I beat those threads like the DTM does in scope threads.

Tikka is missing the boat not chambering the 6 Creed. Heck now that the 22 Creed is Sammi it would be sweet if they would chamber the 22 Creed also.

I’m simply pointing out the irony… you would be surprised to know there are things we agree about. I just call em how I see em and try to not show bias

Yes if they offered a 6cm I would be buying a new one rather than waiting to burn a barrel out on what I have now.

I work in marketing and would like to create a brand for you. Then sell tshirts and hats.

Also, we would add sarcastic jazz hands to #1

Also, who cares if some folks don't like Tikka, just quit quoting them. I think they will have something attractive with 6cm in the base model, and that's about it for "new".

Yea I’ll do better. I’ll try to only post 5 times in those threads instead of 15 :)

Rechambering the 243’s that have an 8 twist isn’t horrible but still an extra expense.

You know, this thread is proof that the Tikka 2024 updates weren’t worth anywhere close to 6 pages of discussion. I think we stopped talking about that around page 2.
