Specs look impressive. Sub 30 oz. Good height over bore. Negative comb. Built in arca and pic. Good folder, and rear bag rider. No price and availability yet, but it has peaked my interest.

It’s interesting, but they don’t understand what they write. A negative comb does not “raise the recoil fulcrum” and does not produce a “linear recoil impulse”.

Perhaps by negative comb they’re referencing the buttpad height? It’s still not as high over bore as a rokstok. Not sure. They’ve got a YouTube video of a brown bear hunt and nothing else I can find on them.

My uneducated eye like the looks of it, (ok the forend looks aesthetically a little goofy but i can forgive that) but I have a feeling it’ll be boutique and they’ll price themselves out of selling many of them if they can’t keep manufacturing costs down.

They would definitely be well served to move the butt pad up to be in line with the comb.

Would be nice, but I’m a manners PH user with arca rear and pic front so i don’t know what i don’t know. Looks like it would be easy enough to add it as an option, if they’d listen to feedback.

The recoil pad is below boreline as any standard stock is- it’s not remotely above boreline. The picture I posted has the line at center of Boreline.

That is a bit of an optical illusion, I’ll admit. Not sure if the “bridge” on the forend makes it appear that way but i initially thought it was higher than it was. They’re pretty close to having something real nice, if they’d tweak a couple things. Wouldn’t he too hard to move the top of the butt pad up to the same height as the back of the cheek piece.

That stubby ass fore end is a no go for me and I'm not a big fan of small section of arca. At least it doesn't have a step in height to the arca like the manners/micky versions with a little arca section.

Sounds like there’s a workaround for the full length arca. The length doesn’t really bother me too much, longer is better obviously but weight gets out of hand pretty quickly.

This is my fear. Small companies have high manufacturing costs that get passed to the buyer, so i think this will be too expensive to compete with XLR.

Bingo. We can only get so light before we are looking for a new exotic build material. I think the MDT hunter chassis is 29 oz with folding stock. Its starting to look like a race engine going from a 10s car to a 7s car... Lots of money will be spent to close that gap

An ultimate build starts looking like a 16" pencil profile barrel on a titanium short action, with a 8oz DT suppressor, magnesium/fiber chassis, 25is oz scope with pinned rings titanium rings.
