New Strings (needed) What to buy, where to source?

“During your bow overhaul, if you haven't done so, have you considered replacing cam bearings? They're cheap enough to do, that you might as well. Maybe pull the limbs and clean the pockets and apply a little white lithium grease to the limb pockets.”

I had not thought of that, but good advise. Thanks.

ABB is the easy button.

No matter who you buy them from - you want good CS and warranty! I like to get 2 years out of a set if I can, but I’ve never got more than that. ABB has always sent me free replacements if they show excessive wear prior to warranty ending.

Pro tip - measure them before you put them on!

I've tried a lot of aftermarket strings on several different bows, but America's Best have been the ONLY ones that I put on and everything is exactly to my bow spec measurements. They cost more, but they're worth it to me. A few months back they had a 50% off sale on their pre-made string sets, so I picked up a set to have on hand.

I'd be happy to take care of you. I use only bloodline vec 99 or revelation 99.

Our turnaround times are quick and my strings don't leave the shop unless they are perfect.

My last 2 sets have had real bad serving separation issues; you getting that on any of your strings? My Gas strings also had real bad serving separation, so maybe it's not just an ABB thing.

I am a huge fan of bloodline fiber from Phantom bow strings. Don't need to be waxed and hold up to everything I put them through.

Another vote for Threadz, I've had great luck with them and my buddy did too after I suggested them to him.

I had a set of Vapor Trails that aged way too fast for my liking and they didn't seem too concerned when I asked them about it.
New set is Gas and the broadhead tune was the easiest ever.
Straight6 Archery in Missoula was very good to me.
