Love my ph2. I jumped off the tikka band wagon to pick on up and have no regrets. Seekins seems to have nailed the balance between listening to consumers while keeping skus manageable. They sure seem to sell them as quickly as they can build them. Ph3 updates seem like a home run.

Need a left hand PH3. No one offers the value Seekins does in a left hand.
Not gonna get one. I reached out to them because I wanted a lefty for my daughter, they said not now nor any plans in the future. Guess I'll just have to get a PH3 for myself.

Missing a market segment there. Limited run would be smart.

If you were to buy the PH3 in say 6.5 creed and then wanted to switch to a 6.5 PRC, I get the barrel change and bolt head change, but what about magazines? The PH2 uses a proprietary magazine for the PRC and standard pmags for the creedmoor.

There is a spacer you remove. With the spacer in it uses regular AICS mags and without the spacer you can use the Seekins long carbon mags.

I wonder what price point and weight they could hit at the same margin if they didn’t flute barrels, have adjustable combs, or mlok?

Which caliber/barrel combination are most tempting? I would also be curious to know what your current lineup is and how you'd intend to use it.

Not 100% sure yet.

I currently have the Havak Element in 6.5 PRC. That's my do it all gun. Leaning towards doing the same and getting the PH3 in 20" 6.5 PRC (suppressed).

Also thinking about going 20" 6mm Creeed PH3 for deer, antelope and then building a 7 PRC for elk. Still not 100% sold on 6 creed for everything.

Similar dilemma I am in... Currently shoot a 308 but I've been itching for something a little more exciting and I have been thoroughly convinced of the merits of 6 creed, although I'd be more interested in a shorty 18". I would be solidly set on trading in my 308 for a 6/6.5 of some flavor, but with a potential move to AK on the table in the coming years, it feels like 7 PRC would be the no brainer, as much as I would prefer a short action, big brown bears tend to change things up.

I love having one gun and being very intimate with it, there's something to be said for that. But I also like the idea of having a backup gun in case something happens either on a trip, or right before a trip. Then you can just grab the other an go. I have other rifles, but they are plinkers, or relics.

I agree. I have 1 rifle. A Seekins ph2 6 creed with proof carbon barrel. Can only shoot one at a time so might as well get 1 rifle that can do it all and have it dialed in

I just bought a 7mm rem mag PH2 in December...I bit on the $200 off at Scheels. Luckily, I haven't put any rounds through it and I can exchange for the PH3. I was a little hesitant with a 26" barrel, but the 22" barrel is a nice sweet spot.

The Scheels rep i talked to today didn't have any idea on the timing on getting them in. His best guess was in February some time - anyone have any information on availability?

Also, I'm not super familiar with using Mlok bipods on bolt guns. I have a Magpul on my DMR AR, but they attached via screws, and are kind of a pain to get on and off, so I generally just leave it attached. Are there any decent "quick detach" type Mlok bipods out there?

Pretty sure you can attatch the Seekins arcs rail to it. I had them install that same rail on my last element I had and they threw on an arca rail as well.

I'm intrigued by the chassis stock on the Element Hunter and am also wondering if they could build one with the standard PH3 action/barrel to reduce costs since they are all supposed to be plug and play. My question is for those that are already using a chassis style stock, there doesn't seem to be much rear surface on this particular stock for solid contact with a bag or rear shooting rest (I use the Kestrel). Am I better off with a standard PH3 stock for that or is there attachments that would go in that hole at the rear bottom of the stock that would increase surface area? I acknowledge I might be overthinking this.
