New Seekins Rifles!!

My question: Would the ph3 be able to be moved into their folding chassis once they are available to buy individually? Seems like they would.

Wonder how long it will be before other companies start making barrels that will fit.

Yes, actions are all identical and can be swapped from stock to stock in the new series.

I bet they existed before you knew ph3 was a thing. They mentioned companies that make them in one of the PH3 release vids. Tennon spec isn't secret, that's all a gunsmith or barrel maker needs.

What's the benefit over the current elements? I don't want a carbon barrel.

60 degree bolt throw, adjustable comb, adjustable LOP, mlok fore end insert, quick change barrel config. If you're into those kinds of things.. I'm not particularly on light gun like the element.

I think seekins will rebarrel pretty cheap. Was it maybe $400?

Glad I didn't miss anything I rather like my original element. I could go for 60 degree throw but that's about it. Although if they had the collapseable stock when I bought mine I would have been really tempted

I wouldn’t dog on them because they don’t chamber a cartridge of your specific choice. They’re one of the best at what they do. Their custom shop is basically mixing and matching barrels/stocks/finishes within their own specific catalog.
I wasn't dogging them for not making the 280AI, but more for calling anything AI a "barrel burner" and calling themselves a "custom" shop when they are, as you said, a mix and match shop.

I'm quite intrigued, however I will let those of you with way more coin than me experiment first and report back lol.

Notice today that they removed the 7 backcountry caliber option.
Was gonna say, I don't see this.........but I see 277 fury!

This is no longer a 700 clone, the action now mates to a pre-bedded recoil lug, or it's integrated into a mini chassis(this has pretty much remove the option of any custom re-stocking of the rifle). I didn't see any this touched on in the video. I really like the idea of the double cam helix cocking piece. Excited to put my hands on one once the become available.

.277 fury with the right twist rate 1:7 would work just fine.

No 6.8W which I was looking at it prior to the new models. How does the 277 Furry compare?

Anyone know if the barrels changed for the HIT? Own a HIT wondering if the new HIT barrels will be different.

IMO
Going to carbon barrel maybe be good for marketing but they are late to the party and I think most of us know now carbon seems to hurt accuracy more than it saves wieght

The video with guns America did show me they they have changed quite a bit I would advise everyone who interested give that a look.

They mentioned there barrels support the case up to .120 “from the base of the case where Sami requires .180” does anyone know how far tika or most factory rifles, support the brass from the base ? is this actually and improvement?
