New Savage Rifle Borescoped - Should I be concerned.

Hello all. Got his rifle from my son to make some loads. It only been shot a few times and i always borescope rifles. Cant say I have seen this. Thoughts?

Looks like most Savage barrels, probably shoots fine like the rest of them.

I agree with WeiserBucks that it looks about what I would expect - or even better than I would expect from Savage. No Savage barrel is going to look nice inside compared to say a premium barrel. But I would judge it by how the target looks rather than what the interior of the bore looks like at this point in its life.

I’ll triple tap. Looks like a typical Savage barrel. I bet it eats copper and shoots small groups. You could always run the Tubbs bore finish system through it if you want to polish it up.
