I really like the mag 22 with the Sherman pocket setup.

If you can swing the price difference, I think the Bane is a worthy upgrade. I’ve had both and prefer the Band.I really like the mag 22 with the Sherman pocket setup.

Yep, I love my SG 5900 and it packs down small for a day pack as well.Same here. 6’1” and my back just keeps on going haha. Zero ass. The packs that fits me the best and has next to zero slippage are the stone glacier for hunting, and Osprey for backpacking/scouting.

A little late to the party here but does the initial accent have a good “sticky” lumbar pad. Like others have stated, I have no butt and a bit of a spare tire so I struggle with packs slipping down.My buddy uses Initial accent and loves it, that’s what he was using while we were in Colorado this year.

I haven't read the entire thread but it sounds like the K4 was designed to address the slipping issue. For me, I've had trouble with slipping in the Kifaru and Stone Glacier. I just bought the K4 and am hoping it will help with the issue. As mentioned above try the stiffer lumbar pad, it made a big difference for my K3. I’ve owned all the major pack brands mentioned. The K3 with stiffer lumbar pad works well for me.
Also, check out the new K4 coming out in March.
It doesn't slip at all. It rides very well and holds tight to you. The frame is very rigid but again, once you get it dialed in for you it is very comfortable.A little late to the party here but does the initial accent have a good “sticky” lumbar pad.
