The 3200 and 6400 will have a straight zip, but it will be longer than the current zippers and will offer great access.

The new 4800 bag will have the horseshoe zip.

About time for a larger bag In horseshoe zip! I’ve been saying one was needed since after I used the pack for the 2014 season.

I think to many people are getting wrapped up in the Ti frame vs Aluminum. At the weights we carry (150lbs max) there is no noticeable difference in strength. Maybe if we were carring 400lb loads.

I don't think the question has ever been strength. It's side to side stiffness. The 1st gen frame moved with you like it was a part of you. The K2 took away that movement, and I don't like it nearly as much as the 1st gen frame. Sounds like this K3 frame is in between, but that movement is coming from belt attachment points and what not. I miss the side stabilizing straps from the 1st gen. Lots of K2 owners said the same thing, pack felt too tippy side to side because those straps were removed. Interesting to see what they look like, but late July early August is way too late for me to think about a new pack. My hunts start early August, spring bear starts next week. Too late in the cycle to get one of these for this fall.

Yes same for me. This is cutting way to close for august hunts. I will stick with my current pack and maybe upgrade end of year.

I just placed an order for a 5500 last week and received an email that it might have the new K794 frame. I have reached out to Mark to see if it is for sure the K794 or the Ti frame but either way I am extremely impressed with the pack. Total turn around time was 7 days from placing my order last Tuesday until receiving it today in the mail.

Will there be updates to the current bag lineup? Or will the current offerings remain unchanged?

The current offerings will be phased out over the summer as we launch the new stuff. We'll still make some of the accessories and probably keep the bag only offerings around for the rest of this year but in general the new line is replacing the current line up.

4800 still have the long side pockets and a roll top?

Can you set up our Mil discount in our account so we can order online or is it call in only?

Yes the new 4800 will still be a very similar layout. Its essentially our current 2000 bag just scaled up with the added side pockets.

On your Mil discount just reach out to Mark and he'll take care of you.

The horseshoe zip on the 2k was awesome, should be just as great on the 4800. Thinking maybe I shoulda waited on my new bag. Next year

Yes, we will have some improvements in the lumber, especially as it relates to the guys that experience a bit of slip.

So your saying Exo has listened to customer feedback as well as a relentless pursuit to keep refining your packs? Updated lumbar, updated webbing straps, updated frame; good god man sounds like you just refined the perfect pack.

Those were my only minor issues I had with the pack. Almost sounds to good to be true.

Can y’all give any hints as to colors that will be offered? Any chance y’all will bring back the coyote tan or firstlite cipher?

I liked my 2015 exo, like my k2 better, and this hype for k3 has me excited.

There are 2 things I like about my seek outside pack better than exo - it doesn’t barrel side to side with loads as much as exo and the bags are almost all xpack and absorb less water. If the new exo is comparable to SO in the barreling department and isn’t a step down from k2 in other areas, it’ll be the ultimate pack for me.
