With just the malice clips on there and the spotter its really floppy. The open-ended compression straps secure it really well. Im not sure what KU calls them but the female buckle has an open end to attach to webbing. I really like them.

Slotted female SR buckle. I love it when the names of stuff make sense.

I bit the bullet and ordered mine this afternoon. Went with a coyote brown AMR with Highlander medium side pockets. Already have the guide lid for it. Should compliment my system very well I think.

You will love it Justin. All the room you need for gear on the way in, and still some left over for 80+ lbs. of boned out meat.

Another fan of the AMR. The more I mess with mine the more it reminds me of what the older large tactical packs (ZXR, MMR EMR) were meant to be.

The size of the two front pockets is awesome. They fit a large pull-out with ease with room to spare.

There doesnt appear to be a bladder pocket / sleeve inside this pack ? Is there a webbing loop or something to hang a bladder from ?

Yes there is. Top, center there is a piece of webbing with a 3bar slider on the end. Run it through the hole in the bladder, then back up to the common loop at the other end of the webbing.

just picked up an AMR with duplex frame and guide lid that Aron Snyder/Kifaru donated to the wild sheep show here in BC.

Gotta say, great looking pack, looks bomb proof, and dang is it huge! Look forward to setting it up for me…need to purchase a couple long pockets (spotter/tripod) and a gun bearer.

any pics out there that someone can put up showing how they mount/carry spotter, and gun bearer?

Thanks Aron for donating, look forward to years of use.

That pocket will hold my 50mm vortex razor and a Sirui T-025x tripod in it no problem.

COlineman, yes you are correct it is not the spotting scope pocket. After looking at that picture I realized how much it was sagging and added the straps to give it some additional support. The pack is new to me but got it new used just recently so I have been playing with setups and configurations. I am looking to add a grab it II and a couple of pockets to the belt for quick access type stuff. This was my first Pack and I have been drooling over them for a few years...so glad I held off, the little bit I have been able to use it so far with training I have loved it!!!
