It is pretty much done. Still need to add a couple of things. Will have more compression straps but i ran out of webbing. The compression straps are not attached to the bag, so i can move them around as needed. I have quite a few attachment points on frame. This bag was partially inspired by the 44 mag. The longest part of any build for me is designing it and coming up with the measurements. I have tried to make a habit of making patterns for every piece now so that the next one is much easier, even if i make some tweaks. Buddy of mine has a bighorn tag in 2 weeks amd i will have a bear tag, so it will get to see some action reals soon.

Damnit that’s nice! What machine are you using?

Consew 206-rb5. Finally spent the money and bought my dream machine. It was worth it. This is my first industrial machine with reverse. All those bar tacks only took me 41 mins, which I thought was pretty good.

I really like that horseshoe zipper, you did an awesome job on it. The molle looks great too! Nice work!

Fwiw, i doubt i would do the horseshoe zipper again. Adds a fair bit of difficulty and time and i think you could slap a straight zip in both seams and get almost the same amount of access. Certainly couldnt just lay it open though. But it does look cool.

Having made a few I agree, my personal bags I just run a vertical zip and no major complaints.

Nice job.

Good luck on the sheep hunt, tell him to text me the results. :)

I agree with both of you on this in my experience of putting bags together. The top end of that panel can be left open so to speak and put a flap on it. 1" webbing coming of the flap with g hooks and a place to hook them on the panel, best of both worlds.

Interesting idea. I had not thought of that.

Wish I had done my zipper like yours. I just did one down the center, and it makes access a bit of a pain. I don't think I'll be tearing it down to fix it though.
