Shall be the baptism to prepare it for the rest of its life. Its going be a real shame when that thing is full of blood stains in a week.
When i first got interested in sewing packs i did some digging online and found a guy on a tactical forum making packs that looked awesome. I was super blown away that someone could make a pack that looked like they bought it. The packs were so complex that it seemed so daunting to build one. But the guy had posted pics of individual panels before assembly and it was a big light bulb moment for me. It broke things into bite sized pieces. So that is part of why i like to post process pics. The other part is so other weirdos like me can geek out on it.Really appreciate the piece by piece photos

Im not real sure. I always order more than i need so i will have it for other projects. Id say probably between 1 and 2 yards. How many yards of materials did the bag take
NiceIt is pretty much done. Still need to add a couple of things. Will have more compression straps but i ran out of webbing. The compression straps are not attached to the bag, so i can move them around as needed. I have quite a few attachment points on frame. This bag was partially inspired by the 44 mag. The longest part of any build for me is designing it and coming up with the measurements. I have tried to make a habit of making patterns for every piece now so that the next one is much easier, even if i make some tweaks. Buddy of mine has a bighorn tag in 2 weeks amd i will have a bear tag, so it will get to see some action reals soon.
