Can be worth noting that early pics of anything are often first sew-outs or even prototypes. The pictures may not represent the marketed packs 100%.

Fair point, but these don't look like teaser pics, they are professionally done, polished shot. dollars to donuts these are the product shots that will end up on the website.
I'd also guess that they are cranking out stock right now to be ready to go retail, so I bet they are well past the prototype stage.

Uncovered some more info on frame-

“We believe the Guide Light Frame will become the new standard in the industry for backcountry hunters and guides who have been looking for an innovative solution to help the harvest process suck less,”
says Ryan Holm, Mystery Ranch’s marketing manager.

Interesting that they went back to the tactiplane style on the Marshell (covered zips, sleeping bag access).

forgive me if I missed it somewhere, but is the cabinet any different then the crew cab, or just same design made overseas?

The question I have is will the new bags fit on the old frame? Based on the pic is I think they will. Then will they sell them separate?

Not to totally derail the thread, is the bikini still made? I'm a total Kifaru noob and lost on the subject. If anyone can PM me that would be great. Wanting to retro fit my Longbow bag.

I think you should wait until they have their new lineup out and make that official statement before you go spreading that rumor.

Jason I know your a fan of MR and I really really hope your right. I actually want to pick up another MR pack. If they do go that route it would be a terrible decision in my opinion.

Yes, I'm a fan. Yes, I also agree with you that it would be a HUGE marketing mistake to go that route. Just my uneducated guess is that they suspended that ability while they were clearing out the stock of the NICE frame packs so that they could then transition to the new designs.

If I'm wrong I'll be the first to criticize them for the decision.

I hope your right, in what limited interaction I've had with mr Gleason he doesn't seem to be the type to make a decision like that.
