Alright, now I'm really confused!!! So the volume listed for the MW is just the main bag size and the volume listed for the DT2 is the main bag, side slot pockets and back pockets combined?!
If so, could you give me a breakdown of the separate volumes on the DT2 - main bag, side slot pockets and back pouches only.
Could you also give me the volume of the main bag on the DT1 with snow collar removed (I assumed the slot and back pouches are the same size as DT2).

Give me a call if possible and I'll explain.

See post 269. I didn't ask about the MW volumes. As you noted, those are fully explained in the previous posts. I was asking about the DT1 and DT2. I'm asking because I'm torn between these packs and trying to make a decision. I'm in analysis paralysis mode.

Aron, I called you and left a message.

Before talking to Aron, I had pretty much ruled out the DT1 and was torn between the DT2 and MW. After talking with Aron, I have now completely ruled out the DT2 and I'm probably going with the DT1. It'll probably be another week or two before I finally place my order, so I'm sure I'll change my mind 4 more times, but that's where I'm at now.

The dt1 is a great option. The emr2 is my current pack but I had a really hard time deciding between it and the dt1.

New "MOUNTAIN WARRIOR" pack from Kifaru

Just got the mountain warrior mounted up. I've got to say inm pretty happy with it. Guys that hunt clearly designed this and it shows. It's a damn fine bag, and I'm impressed with the thought that went into it.
The bag I would say is tentatively sized at 4800 for the main. It feels bigger to me, especially since I can get everything that goes in my Kelty 5200 in it.

It seems they added a Grab handle In front of the cutout in the hypalon, at least that's what I assume it is. I'm also happy to see kifaru supplying Velcro web keepers. Is it a necessary? No but it's a nice touch. Just like the other pack I got from kifaru, there is some shit on it I have not figured out what it's there for but in time I'll probably put it together.

Aron I noticed there is only one power pull buckle on the bag? Is this a new change? Can I cut the other power pull off or should I just run it to the frame?

Also the catalog looks really well done.

Cut the upper off your belt....attach lower delta to the bottom of the bag.

There's a video on the Duplex page.

Typhon mountain warrior showed up in the mail today! Need to mount it on the bikini frame and then be in biz for this summer hiking and scouting trips!

What are the 3 bar sliders for on the bottom of the pack? Another way of attaching to the frame? I see there is only one set of deltas now which makes me think this is what these 3bar sliders may be for. I had ordered the kifaru meat shelf but I dont' see any common loops for that on this pack for it. Seemed I had remembered the Highcamp having common loops for the meat shelf. Wondering why this one doesn't.

Pack is awesome though, exactly what I wanted from Kifaru.

Yes the 3 bar sliders attach to the lower portion of the pack. Can take pics of where they go later today if that helps.

Yes the 3 sliders go through plastic loops on the bottom portion of the frame.

Here is looking down on the bottom of the pack frame and bag:

Here is a close up of the 3 bar slider going through the plastic loop:

Hope that helps some!
