New Mexico Recommendations

I have been wanting to treat myself to a guided antelope hunt for several years. Next year is looking pretty good at this point. I pass through NE New Mexico every year and see a lot of animals, some of which are sporting some impressive headgear. I think that part of the country is beautiful, and it is with in a long day's drive of home. While I am not married to that part of the state, I do want to do it in eastern NM to keep it within a day's drive.

I don't even know where to begin. I have googled up some info, but I'd like to get some recommendations borne of personal knowledge or experience. I don't have to kill a record book buck to be happy. An outfitter or guide who partners with a good taxidermist would be ideal.

Yes, in 2011 had a fantastic hunt. Went with friends that go almost every year.

I thought it might be cool to do a little prairie dog shoot in the down time. Do they offer that?
