Or you could just not worry about at all, not even a tiny bit. Like most people that hunt from out of state.

Oh I'm still going and avoiding people in general. Just the type of person that likes plan ahead if someone has had any problems.

I get one good western hunt a year and enjoy it immensely. I start planning and saving for the next years trip the day I get back from the current one. I actively try to minimize potential hiccups as much as I can, whether or not I agree with the protocol or intent.
