New Mexico Public Land Javalina

My buddy and I have a few days left here in New Mexico (near Alamogordo) and are trying to get into some public land Javalina. Any suggestions or tips? Thanks!

Not familiar with that area but, look for agave, prickly pear and water. Damn stink pigs.

Look higher than you think....not always in the flats. Mtn Mahogany brushy draws. If it's dry... get up high and glass from a 2 mi radius around a full tank
