Welcome to the forum from an Idaho member! I was born in Montgomery Alabama when my father was stationed at Gunther Air Force Base. That was back in 1955, not sure if the base is still there. My most vivid memory is fire ants

Saw one spike pushing a doe that ran about 20-30 yards in front of me in pine thicket and saw one more doe along all that new clear cut. It’s been while since I went up and camped there but folks were everywhere i tell ya.
