NEW Left Handed Tikka 223 Pre-Order begins

Super pumped for this. My oldest daughter likes to shoot and hunt with me. But, she is both small and lefty. Either one is tough, but together is nearly impossible. For Christmas I got her a lefty tikka T3x in .243, but she is worried about recoil and is already flinching. My rig is a Sako 85 Hunter in .223 - which she is able to tolerate. This is going to allow her to shoot and hunt with me confidently. I’ve already reached out to get her in a shoot to hunt course. Thank you all and @Unknown Munitions .

I hope you’re right, but why would you expect that? They said they’d order when they have 50 orders. They now have 49.

Because the point of the pre orders was just to verify that there’s enough serious interest in them to sell 100 more. It’s not like they’re relying on the $100 per person to pay for the order. If we hit 50 and someone returned one and are back to 49, I’d expect them to order because UM is serious about customer satisfaction. I’m sure we’ll have well over 50 preorders by the time the shipment actually gets here.

I stand corrected. I reached out to UM asking if they would order since we’re at 50 and they said, “We’re at 49 so very very close.” I guess they’re serious about not ordering until there’s that one last down payment. Also, he said they expect it to be six months from the time they order till they’re delivered.

Bump for fellow lefthand shooters. Mine is from the first order. Just started shooting 77 tmk this week. This is literally the first group with those. About .68 for 5. Actually happy with it as is but will adjust charge and seating depth. Seem like a solid choice in a 223.

Our 1:8 barrel from the last order has been shooting ADI 55gr Blitzkings 1.25" MOA.

One of my kids is a lefty.

I made 200 low recoil 55gr Sierra #1345 loads to get the party started and thankfully my kids are good with factory ammo now.

My point is:

If you have a lefty kid get one of these coming. It will get your kid set up to train properly for the rest of their time in your care.
