New LD Hunter

New long distance hunter here. Currently chasing Minnesota whitetails but grew up chasing Michigan’s finest. A buddy asked me to build a custom gun 4 years ago so we could chase elk. Well, that dream has turned into my Moby Dick - there’s always a longer distance, tighter group, better gear, newer load recipe, higher B.C. bullets, and newer caliber. That said, we are 2 for 2 on elk hunts - all 5x5’s and at 213 yds, 475yds, 546yds, and 626 yds. Must be doing something right! Looking forward to learning more from this group and participating where I can. Happy New Year Rokslide!
