It is, and I hope they keep it.
People who can kill elk get to every year. Everyone else gets to try. Beats the snot out of only hunting every 5 years.

Nice. This was OTC archery?

OTC for 4 yrs and last yr our fav unit went draw… we pulled tags as 2nd choice options and saved our pts.

But it’s reality, better to know the truth then the fairytale.

So basically you would advise saving money on tags, go out during the rut to figure out how it all works, instead of tags invest in points so after a few years I can apply for a better unit and then have the experience to actually have a shot at filling a tag

Please don't go tromping around during hunting season just to "see how it all works"
