New Kuiu set-Haven

Dang excited to get my hands on KUIU’s extreme cold weather whitetail setup.

The Sitka fanatic has kept me warm & is pretty quiet-but that pattern is atrocious & it’s the worst fabric I’ve ever seen for attracting burrs & stickums.

Really interested in this & am excited to put it to the test

Looks nice. I’m surprised how not bulky it looks in the website pics. Excited to hear if it’s as warm as Sitka or first lite

the advertised outer fleece will probably be pretty burr collecting just like the fanatic.

Would love to see this sst in person, but gonna be a hard sell for me given the fanatic works so well for my needs.

Would be different if it was water resistant/proof. I know that is tough to keep quiet, but that would be the one addition might make me punch the trigger

I’ve got their Proximity set-yes it does pick up burrs but not NEARLY to the extent my Fanatic does. Plus they can dang near be brushed off by hand-whereas on the fanatic it’s going to take tweezers & a lot of time.

Just looked on their website and noticed it’ll be offered in a solid color, not something that would really get used outside of hunting but kinda cool

I thought they were going to be releasing something to compete with the source jacket. I guess kenai kind of does, but the Haven set might have me even more excited then that would. Actual down in a quiet whitetail piece hasn't been done yet to my knowledge, though I understand haven is a blend of down and 3defx

Well worth the investment. What takes several minutes if not hours by hand is seconds with this mitt.

I wonder if this is in the brick and mortar stores yet. Have never been to the one in dallas despite living within 45 minutes. Would like to see this set in person.

Maybe it wilp be a next year purchase when there is more info out there about it…and the prices for used sets come around

That’s the only thing keeping me from ordering. You could hear the ‘swishing’ in that video. I’m waiting for a few others to buy and give feedback, not ready to drop that cash on something not silent

Hunt in Texas panhandle, it would take about 5 minutes for that outer material to be covered in goat-head stickers and two hours to remove. Work 5 minutes from Kuiu store which is nice but costly, product is a no go for me.

Anybody get their hands on this? I was at the KUIU store couple weekends ago and didn't see it, ended up just getting the fanatic set since I had the 40% discount for an order. loved the proximity but not being windproof spooked me off

Took delivery of the bibs today but it's way warm to even try it on much. I have the Stratus and Incinerator bibs to compare it to.
