How big is that Velcro slot pocket that holds the shoulder straps on the Guide Lid? I am just curious if it would accommodate a water bladder like maybe those square shaped Badlands ones?

They attach without issue to the sides of the E&E.

Exactly what iv been waiting for, a light e&e type lid, a bottle pocket and highlander soft goods. Iv been good about not spending lately but this stuff may put me over the edge.

That lid looks like it will work slick over an empty pack as well, my only real complaint I had while running the long hunter.
