Re: Spike Camp/Express gone??
I seen this post from Aron on the kifaru forum. This part about a new day pack has my interest...
Anyone know anything about this or has anyone seen the pack at a show or anything?

I hadn't planned on letting the cat out of the bag on the new packs, but this thread pushed the announcement along a bit early.
We had planned on doing one last batch of Spike Camps (that's what we just added to the website) and then releasing the newer version later this spring. So if you like the original, buy it now, as it will probably not be offered after this.
The new Late Season/Naked Xing/new pack will be available in less than a month. As I mentioned earlier, it has a hybrid Omni suspension, so it's an improvement in load hauling over the Omni, but not quite the equal of the Wraptech. We did this because most of the comments we received as well as user feedback has told us the Hunting and Tactical frame would be the choice when needing a load hauler and the Wraptech was a bit much for daypacks/backpacking/EDC. We are super excited about this pack as it answers the need that everyone has been asking for.
The Apollo (new archery/quiver pack) will be released in the next couple of weeks. This is a very sleek/slim daypack that has an expanded meat shelf and roll-top closure. We also added a full center zipper and a sleeve down the back that can hold arrows, water bladders, walking sticks and multiple other items.
We are done with larger packs for a while and feel our current line covers just about everything anyone could need (within reason anyway).
As far as the future goes, we are working on a few different product markets that Kifaru has overlooked in the past. We also have several niche items in the hopper that may or may not come to fruition....just depends on how they all test out.
Things take time at Kifaru, but please know that we are listening to our customers feedback and our future designs are based off all of you. We just want to make sure everything is tested thoroughly and built to the standards Kifaru is known for.
Thanks again to everyone and we hope you enjoy what the future holds for Kifaru!
