It better be out soon if they're going to make it in time for TTH. I'm assuming they're trying to build up some stock to try and not have the same situation as what happened with the frames last year and people were bugging them to try and get it before hunts, but in this case it'd be TTH.

It's a weird bag. Not sure I understand the roll top. And it doesn't connect to the top of the frame when in load shelf.

I thought all the Kifaru load shelf packs had to be detached from the top of the frame when used this way. I wish they would bring back the DT3 with a center or side zip and a roll top lid.

I wonder if this can be run frameless with just a lightweight shoulder harness and waistbelt while retaining the option for connecting to the frame for possibility of load hauling?

I was thinking they would attach it like they do the cargo panel sense it is such a small bag. I guess I viewed it as a cargo panel with a bit of storage space. I also don't understand the roll top. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I think the roll top lid gives it the ability to run light and fast without a need for a lid to close it up. Makes a nice option when you don't want or need a lid on a short trip.

Roll top is a great function and if sold without a lid it lowers the price without the need to buy a lid. I usually do not need a lid in Sep.

Does it look like the bag contents are compressed when the load shelf is compressed?

Yes it sure does. That drives me crazy. When you have a load compressed you have to uncompresse everything to get into the main bag.

Cant decide if I want to give this bag a try or not. Love the center zip. I would rather see a built in lid or pocket on the top for quick access items rather than a roll top but thats just me.

Meh.. Not for me unless the videos show me something I'm not thinking of. Glad kifaru makes a bag for everyone though.
