Precision Engineered to Maximize Accuracy and Improve Long Range Flight.

For many years, I've been studying broadhead aerodynamics and looking for ways to improve fixed-blade flight without compromising durability or penetration. After hundreds of hours of CFD modeling and testing, the result is our new SLR Broadheads.

Compared to standard broadheads, the SLR reduces lift by approximately 50% and also reduces drag, making it exceptionally forgiving and ideal for Long-range shooting, Crosswinds, High-speed bow setups, slight tuning issues, or less than perfect form.

Check out the video at the link for more details and let me know if you have questions.

Definitely has my attention. Few questions from someone who already shoots the SB125:
  1. Is there a significant difference in force required for penetration between the SLR and S or SB series heads?
  2. In terms of forgiveness gains, did your testing show that these become more significant past a certain range, or were they consistent throughout?
    1. (Asking as someone who only targets game out to 40 yds and doesn't shoot a fast setup, but is always looking for more forgiveness.)
  3. Any other reason why you'd push someone toward an S or SB head instead of the SLR?

looks like an awesome update Bill!
I’m looking forward to trying them out.

Kudu and shuttle T have always flown well for me. This looks like a stronger better version of that underlying shape.

1. Our SLR, S Series and SB all have minimal force to penetrate hide, muscle and bone. I'll have more data on this soon.
2. There is more forgiveness at any range with the SLR. With a very out of tune bow, you will see an improvement at 40 yards.
3. S and SB are easier to sharpen and were designed primarily for maximum penetration. Most people shoot these very accurately at medium to long range. Single Bevels rotate through an animal to open up holes and cause a bit more trauma which is a nice feature. SLR is optimized for flight above all else, still maintaining excellent penetration and durability.

That side profile looks like the mouthpiece on a whistle. What do these sound like in flight?
They are quiet in flight because they are very streamlined with minimal turbulence as the air flows over the blades and comes back together following the back bevels.

There are several other broadheads over the years with a somewhat similar look of the back of the blade flaring out. Our SLR is much shorter front to back with much less surface area to achieve the improved aerodynamics and minimal lift.
