New Hunter Looking for Tech Clothing Opinions

I've been an archer for several years and am planning my inaugural general archery hunt this year. I'm trying to plan do some research on tech clothing that will work well for me, but am curious on everyone's experience with pants, specifically. I generally run a 34" waist (36" on some brands) but have a 30" inseam. 31" in any brand I've ever tried fits like your big brother's hand-me-downs that you might never grow into. This causes some restriction on available brands that size based on inseam, but I'm curious if anyone with similar dimensions to me has found a brand with general Regular/Long sizing that still fits 30" inseams like mine?

Badlands? Pneuma? Eberlestock? Black Ovis?

First Lite, Kuiu, and KXG have some models with sizing that works for me, but I'm curious what other options might exist to broaden my pant horizons. Thanks in advance for helping a tech clothing newby.

Honestly, you could probably walk into any Target or Dick's sporting goods and get just about everything you need. Synthetic pants, synthetic sun hoodie/longsleeve, grid fleece, down vest. Maybe except for a really good puffy jacket.

If you're not quite up for that, check out Backcountry.com's sales. Wide selection on a bunch of different brands that would do the trick, and you can filter by inseam length.

I do have a pair of Kings Draft pants. They feel just a touch low-rise and fit really snug through the thighs. They'll likely be fine in the woods, but I feel like a boy band member wannabe wearing skinny jeans if I dare to wear them around town. I'm not getting rid of them (somehow I scored them at $25 on Amazon) but I'm hopeful for some other options. Black Ovis is more affordable than most, but they only have regular/long lengths which their sizing chart says equates to a 32" inseam at a starting point. I suppose they could just get hemmed but that seems like it should be an unnecessary hassle.

Im also a 34/30 in pants. I can wear Sitka pants in 34 regular, but i usually hem the inseam a bit on the sewing machine. I just fold them under one time and stitch.

I’ve used Sitka for over a decade now from summer scouting through December cow elk hunts and it’s really good stuff but the last two years I’ve been trying Black Ovis and I’ve been impressed. Watch out for the camofire sales and try the Granite peak pants, realm tech hoodie & 1/4 zip fleece. Best bang for buck IMO

Similar issue here. I actually just run the longer pants and deal with it if short options aren't available. KUIU pants fit me well, but don't overlook non hunting brands. Pretty much my go to elk hunting pants are Prana Zion's. Have one pair I have worn for years. The plus is that you can wear them out in town too. There are a lot of good non hunting brands as well. I will say that I typically do not buy any of my hunting clothes in camo if that is an option as I do tend to wear them for every day use if possible. I can't see spending $150 on a pair of pants to wear one week a year.

Kings Camo has short inseam options on their pants.
I'll just add, we ordered the short inseam on the kings with knee pads and the pads were too low for my son. The inseam was still too long as well so the wife took up the slack between the knee pad and waist by sewing.
