New Hunter in SW BC

Hey all,

New to hunting, living just outside of Vancouver BC. Getting a late start(25), as no one in my family hunts. I'm finally in a position that I can take some time off in the fall and get out with a couple of friends this year. Can't wait to get out for any style of hunt, but dream of backcountry elk and dall sheep. I'll be trying to put together a decent gear list over the year. Great community here, looking forward to learning all I can!
