New to this site. I live in MI..for now but have lived in AK for a while.
We have about 100 acres of family hunting land in SW MI.
Potential for big deer is possible by us if I can get my neighbors to stop shooting small bucks. It is what it is I guess.
I shoot a crossbow during bow season and either a 450 or the 400legend during gun..

Joel/Ak - I understand your position. I have migrating neighbers recently from Oregon. I suspect them of poaching elk but don't have enough to nail them yet.

Been hunting near CW for two years and I’ve never seen so many deer.
The new one buck rule will surely help with people being more selective.

A bit away from Coldwater. The land is in Nunica. Luckily we got some new neighbors to the west of us. I know them so I should be good there. New neighbors to the north. I grew up with him and he spends most of his time hunting out of state. Also a new neighbor to the NE. Talked to him a few times, they dont really hunt.

Thos 3 families im not to worried about now. I just gotta watch the neighbors to the east and south. Every year they seem to have a rotating door on lease hunters. Their property so all I can do is watch and see if I find something. Hoping not but I have had to call the sheriff's before
