New hang-on stands (all day sits maybe}

Like the title says, I'm looking for a couple new stands. Must be on the lighter side and comfortable enough for an all day sit.

These will be packed in a mile or two ahead of time and left.

If the budget allows, I've been very impressed with the weight and comfort of millennium stands. I'm pretty tall though and find that the seats are a little low to quickly stand up out of them. So that might be an issue.
I also have a couple hawk kickback LVL stands which are very comfortable but don't get the lightweight nod. But if you're leaving them for the season it may not matter that much.

Rogers has the hawk lvl stands on sale today. Just ordered 3. I’m too old for cheap Treestands anymore lol. I love my summit loc ons they are light but fairly pricey.

Dan Infalts Beast Stand (6.8 lbs), Lone Wolf Custom Gear .5 (5.7 lbs) or 1.0 (8.1 lbs), Novix Helo (for a budget option but still light at 9.2 lbs) All other stand options out there are louder while packing in as well as hunting out of them, heavier (often much heavier), and harder to pack.

I mean, Hawks Ultralite is marketed as being 11lbs but my friends weighed 12.5 lbs bare right out of the box. That isn’t light or cheap at $247. I think that whole company is junk.

Novix helio and novix sticks is the way to go.

I used a LWCG 1.0 all season this year. That system is slick with the way the sticks fit to the stand. With that said, it’s in no way shape or form 3 times better than the novix helio and novix sticks. It’s also only a couple pounds lighter for the entire set up.

The LWCG .5 is light but it’s a glorified saddle platform.

The millennium m-100 is a great stand if you plan to leave it up. I wouldn't wanna move it often. I have made several all day sits in mine with no problem.

another vote for the M-100 havent found a stand as comfortable for an all day sit. i packed one in a mile and a half for a three day hunt. left it hung and hunted from my saddle if i wanted to go a different area. I also got a M-7 this year. its lighter and smaller but not as comfortable.

All day sits - Summit climber or ladder for me. I had a Millenium M100U and it was okay but not comfy enough for an all day sit for me. The Summit climber has a rail that goes all the way around so if you archery hunt, you'll have to set your seat high. I prefer the seat low- the rail provides security-feel and I sleep like a baby in it during mid-day naps.

I have an M100. It is super comfortable compared to some of the other lock on stands I've used. Only negative, which would be a negative with a lot of stands, is the large platform if you have to hike through thick stuff with it on your back. I got off track last year and into some nasty stuff after an evening hunt. About 20 minutes into it I was ready to leave my stand, bow, and pack in the woods and start playing golf again.

My opinion: I love my Lone Wolf (Now Novix?) Hang On, but if I'm leaving multiple stands in the woods with a chance of them getting taken, I'd buy a cheaper steel stand and man up to carry it in/out. It's not like they're that heavy...

If I'm carry in, carry out, that's when I use the Lone Wolf or one of my nice / lighter saddle setups.

Ultimate Run & Gun treestand is the Beast hands down. 29 x 16” platform weighting 6.8 pounds. I’ve comfortably sat for 6 hours straight with zero leg numbness or sore butt. I’ve owned OG Lone Wolf Assaults that are 8.5#, Alpha’s, saddles and the Beast blows them all away.

A better option for all day sits if you’re packing in the day prior will absolutely be a summit climber.
Millennium makes a great seat as well if that’s something you’re looking in for tree versatility where climbers will be limited.

Any of the full size millenium hang on are great if you hang them and leave them. Very comfortable. For climbing stands summit stands are like sitting on your favorite recliner.
