Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening
New to RokSlide, have crept a few articles from Google over the last couple years planning for my first trip west this fall. Never had interest in chasing western big game until 2 years ago, unfortunately I now have 2 littles so now I have to make each hunting trip count with the limited time I have away from the fam. Have spent most of my life chasing Whitetails in WI mostly standing and driving...if you haven't participated in that hunting tradition, please try it before you degenerate it. We have a heard of 50 or so deer running around 160 acres and we only harvest 2-3 out of it even though we move them around. But saying that, I've realized I don't have the hunting skills I thought I did, I can read sign and navigate but still trying to figure out how to put it all together.
Anyway look forward to reading any tips and tricks for late season elk aside from glassing and waiting haha.
