Hey guys. Found this forum after reading “Hunting Big Mule Deer.” Looking forward to being part of the community.

My wife and I are currently living in Kansas City, and surprisingly, there aren’t many rifle ranges nearby. I was looking forward to this recent spurt of warmer weather, but now the closest 100 yd range is under construction until May! The cabin fever is setting in...

I've never been to Parma Woods, but their website says 50 yds is the max range.

Rifle/pistol range

• $3 per booth per hour
• Free to youth groups age 18 and under for competitive or educational shooting
• Paper bull’s-eye targets and stands provided
• 15-point, covered firing line for rifles with target sockets at 25, 50, 75, and 100 yards
• 10-point covered firing line for handguns with target sockets at 7, 15, 25, and 50 yards
• 1 point for shooters with disabilities on each range
• Shooting benches and seats for shooters
• Spectator seating

Its a 100 range, just call them if you want to verify that.

Little over an hour north of you is a range at Elam Bend conservation area. There isnt usually anyone there. 25,50,100yrds. And shotgun. Its free to public. Pretty nice area. Not far from my house
