New Frame and Bags from Kifaru International

Ok, so assuming I get my bonus in February, I'm going to be buying a pack. I'm getting the big boy, 7k or 7200. And I'm torn. Do I buy the 7K bikini duplex or the T1? Does the bag that comes with the bikini feature the spotting scope pockets? Or should I go with the T1 if I'm looking for that. What's the major differences, advantages or disadvantages you guys have seen with internal versus external frames? I currently run with an Arc'Teryx internal frame, have never run with an external. I would really like the communities opinions on what they liked didn't like before I make my own decision and drop the coin. Thanks in advance. Sorry if this is a bit of a ramble, I'm trying to get it typed out fast with a screaming son and wife hehe.

I would agree. Some excellent deals for those looking for a Kifaru pack. The new frames are a nice option for the Ultralight crowd. I however will not be parting with my DT3!! Not saying I won't try one of these new frames??

Does anyone know if the piece that lets you use the bag as a cargo panel come with the bag or separate. I didn't see it under accessories and didn't order it.

I'm getting 5 lbs. 7 ounces with an unmodified DT1 bag and Bikini frame with a large hip belt. I should be able to get my small belted Bikini and modified DT1 down to right at 5 lbs. or less.

I got six pounds even for an unmodified DT1 bag with a long hunter lid and the bikini frame.

I did my calculations with the DT1 XTL (3 Lbs 12 Oz)

And the Bikini frame (2 Lbs 5 Oz)

4800 high camp bag and 24" bikini duplex..... 4lbs 5oz. Add a couple medium KU belt pouches to it and possibly a KU long pocket for when I will be taking a spotter.

I noticed only 1 weight for the bikini duplex frame, I assume that with a small belt, and 24" stays Id be even a little lighter.

Also Im curious Aron, will I be able to use an E&E as a lid with this pack the same as I did with my T1?? Also is the bottom of the pack double layered 500d like all the other hunting packs?

Just put the t1 in the classifieds, as long as I can get what im asking, ill be ordering this. The High camp bag looks perfect! Everything I didn't like about the T1 has been addressed.
