New developments coming this summer

My puffy arrived today.

OV again nicely done. 3 for 3 in terms of fit and I’m not an easy person to fit.
If anything I could have downsized to a L tall instead of standard XL. Mid layer is an XL and fits well. I have room for another layer or jacket between the two which isn’t a bad thing at all.

No outside use yet and I’m skeptical there is 7.5 oz of down fill based on the loft but will reserve judgement there when it has a chance to expand and in real use outside.

My puffy arrived today and I'm leaving for my CO 3rd rifle this afternoon. So along with the puffy I'll be further using the pants and mid layer (which I've been using since Sept). Should have some solid thoughts after.

This is the major downside of these. Not been through hardly anything rough. Don’t think these are going to be a long term solution.

For folks that ordered the puffy, how does it compare to an SG Grumman, Kuiu Super Down, and FL Chamberlain? I have all 3 and am curious where this guy would fall in that lineup.

I posted my initial reaction vs the Kuiu super down a few posts back. Haven't tested it in cold or windy conditions but with less stitching and more down I would expect it to perform better. Time will tell.

Thanks. Is it about the same packable size?
